Tyrone is visiting Saturday for Auburn's camp with teammate Alex Norton (OL).  He will first attend "Dawg Night" on Friday and then drive to Auburn Saturday.  He doesn't have Auburn on the top of his list but since we lost K. Rodgers, I expect the coaches start to recruit Crowder more.

Not trying to be negative, but we have a lot of ground to make up on this kid..

That is not negative. It is reality.

He's our #1 OL candidate now.

That is great news, hopefully CJG will be able to convince him that is the place to call home for the next 4 yrs.

IMO, this is very good news.  I think we need at least one 4 star type at OG this year, and I wouldn't be opposed to us taking a lesser known and allowing him to develop.

E Mack is only a RS Sophmore, correct?

Guys, Crowder has always been high on the board; there just hasn't been interest from him until his announcement to come to camp this weekend.  Still a lot of ground to make up, but Jeff Grimes can do it if anyone can.

You got to believe that he sensed the full court press on KR and felt more center stage with other programs. Hope he has a great visit!!!!

Has he narrowed his list down and if so who is considered his leader?

I believe he favors USCe and Clemson at the moment.

He was suppose to give a top 5 but he delayed the date.  According to 247, teams with "warm" interest are Alabama, Clemson, Florida, Georgia and South Carolina.

Don't sweat it. This weekend could change all that.

according to espn,

Tyrone Crowder (Rockingham, N.C./Richmond), the No. 1 prospect in North Carolina,

basically saying

Apparently Crowder did not stay for Dawg Night, as he left in the afternoon to leave for Auburn.

He goes on to say he does not have a top five, but will after his visit to Auburn

Free from BMatt

He (Crowder) said he had a great visit to Auburn and was really impressed with the school and spending time with the coaching staff. He wants to cut his list to a top 5 soon and have a decision before the start of his senior season. He said Auburn has a "great chance" to be one of his finalists.

Much more coming soon...

This is one guy we want to wait until the very last stinkin' minute to make a decision....that's our only chance.

Here's hoping for a signing day announcement...

Clemson is listed as Warmer now. Bammer and Gawga still warm along with Auburn now. SC and Florida have dropped to cool.
