Five players class of '12 show significant results of hard work since NSD (2/1)

The '12 class was just posted on the AU roster and I did a quick comparison to the data from the Rivals AU roster when the class committed. These 5 guys have already made a big change. Diamond at 315 is already at playing weight and Young at 292 is almost there. WRs Louis and Williams as well as CB Jones have shown good results from their hard work too. Looks like these boys want to come to the Plains ready to play some football.

Many schools pad their weights on the rosters.  I am sure there has been some gains, but maybe not quite this much.

Yes, I am aware of that for sure plus Rivals weights could have been low as well. I know Diamond and Avery could easily put on the weight with their frames so let's hope these are weigh in weights. The Williams weight comes directly from his own twitter.

This. However, I absolutely believe that they've been working, because I get the feeling that seeing the older guys work as hard as they have been inspired the new guys to do so as well.

Most of these guys coming from h.s. have been following strength and nutrition programs guided by broscience or novice coaches at best.  When these guys come on board they are given world class programming and nutrition by our staff and it makes a world of difference.  I can see these undertrained freshmen easily putting on quality weight in 5 months.  Heck, most kids at that age are still growing and would probably gain 1/3 of that weight naturally.  Prime example:  Beginning my senior year in H.S. I was 5'10' 175. My freshman year in college I was 6'1" 200 and never lifted the first weight.  The numbers could be skewed though as most on any roster are, but I can guarantee these guys have developed to say the least.

This. I haven't heard anything that would make me think he isn't on course to enroll at the beginning of the fall semester.

Rivals hardly ever updates height and weight even when the recruit is in high school. It was stated in another thread how RF is considered a starter at any college team and TJ was not due to his size. I found this hard to believe so I checked Rivals and both were about 225 and the same height. I was quickly corrected by Ellitor on how RF is actually 245 now. So clearly Rivals never updates height and weight but to be optimistic I will give you the benefit of the doubt.

Yes, I believe in the last few days KF asked JaQuay that question via twitter and JW answered back he would be at AU the last week in July.
