Kid from Cullman, AL who played baseball at uat got his first major league start tonight for the Rockies.  He promptly doubled in his first major league at bat.  My son played against him several times in high school.  He is a good kid.  I had a feeling he would make it.  Congrats Josh!!

In his second major league at bat he singles to right.  2 for 2 in his major league debut.  Not bad against Cliff Lee.

Ended game 2 for 2 with a Sac Fly and walk, 2RBIs and a stolen base.  Oh, and he was 1.000% in fielding at SS.  He just earned a roster spot until Tulowitzki returns in about six weeks.  Manager Jim Tracy was so impressed, he said he may move him to 2nd Base when Tulowitzki returns.  Way to go Josh!!  Keep it up.
