2012 Offensive Scheme

Sitting here watching ESPN's greatest games and it's Baylor vs Oklahoma. What I've seen so far, a description of Lefty's offense looks like what OU runs. Multiple formations, under center, pistol, shotgun, deep passes, toss sweeps, screens, etc. Is this what we can expect from our O? If so I will be EXTREMELY satisfied. I think we will not go as fast as they do and that we will huddle more often, but I like what I see. WDE!!

Here are some Temple highlights from last year.

Just from a single game you can see the balance of Loeffler's offense. That highlight shows the option, a lot of play action to the RB and TE, deep crossing routes, a bubble screen, and some extremely well-blocked power plays. Also a lot of pre-snap motion. I'm excited to see the balance mix with the various playmakers we have.

That looks a LOT like 2004-05... Which is a VERY good thing, some of the most prolific and balanced offenses we have ever had. WDE!!  :tdau::wareagle:

Maybe it was just the few highlights that I saw but it seemed as though the QB was rolling out on most passing plays. I don't know if that is by design but that would appear to suit Frazier's skill-set pretty well.

I think what I'm most excited though is seeing the product of Loeffler's power running game combined with his inheritance of an All-American fullback.  :wedance:
