Is the SEC network on Fox like the Jefferson Pilot Sat morning game?

I do believe thats correct...here in Montgomery it would be on channel 12 or something...I guess we can't complain too much since our first 3 games are on TV and not PPV.

It's on FoxSportssouth, Sportssouth, CSS, ESPNU, your local station that used to carry JP games, and ESPN3.com

With the new (last year, I believe) SEC TV Contract, all SEC games are televised.  The exception is for one game for each school to be a PPV telecast.  I just hope none of ours are on CSS.

Are the times listed local time, ie CDT in those cases?

At least we're able to play MSU early as opposed to at night like we have the past 2 times we've been there. Both 2008 and 2010 were night games and apparently MSU had the ability to call for the 2011 game in Auburn to be early, certainly more to their advantage to take the crowd out of it.

Playing State at 11am is a good thing. It takes their crowd out of it to a certain extent. I figured that's how it would go. Don't worry though, the LSU game is likely to be 2:30 CBS so we'll have a primetime game coming up soon.

I guess the only bad thing is listening to all of those darned cowbells...

I don't mind the easier games like UL-Monroe being early, that way I can go cheer for my Tigers then catch the rest of the games in the afternoon and evening time. I don't think it will matter if it is night or day at MSU, they act like it is the Super Bowl every time they play us and we will whip them regardless. I really hope LSU is a night game even though I know it is going to be at 2:30.

Bloody Mary, anyone?

My fav for early morning games!

I usually just stick to my normal 6am whiskey and coke then drink beer, but maybe since I am a year older (not wiser) I will get a little classy with a Bloody Mary.

How in the world could you ruin your whiskey that way?  Don't do that man, just throw a little water over your whiskey and enjoy/savor the taste.

 I would tend to agree with you. But if you saw the kind of whiskey I drink on game days you would encourage me to put something more than water in it. Low grade.

Yup unfortunately I am that guy. It did indeed work in 2010, but 2011 not so much. Sometimes you gotta know when to move on and change it up.

This worries me especially against MSU. We don't usually play well during day games and the game is in Starkville. Early morning + cowbells = The team better concentrate real hard during that game.

Is it really that loud to the players? If so using signals may be in order. Also I think a noon game in maroon jerseys could get kinda toasty.

Last year we sat in the midst of MSU fans and the few that had bells really grated on my nerves but it was worth it to see the air come out of them on the last play. ;D

I'm an old skooler. Love me some a.m. games!!! Just wish it would sometimes be the upper-echelon teams of the SEC but it ain't happening anymore. TV and $$$ prevent that.
