Wilkins, Matthews, Wiggins, Adams, Howard and which ever other two players grab the spots. That's right, I'm a sunshine pumper. Get over it. O ya, Kitt and Glass will switch over to Au this year too.

I like that. I agree with 1-5. From what I've read Liner is really trying to get Howard and Matthews.

1)Wilkins

2)Matthews

3)Adams

4)Luper

5)OL

6)Howard

7)WR/Green

1. DT - M. Adams

2. DB - T. Matthews

3. ATH - C. Luper

4. RB - J. Wilkins

5. OL - T. Crowder

6. RB - D. Green or TE - OJ Howard

If we sign one more, then

7. either we sign Green, Howard, steal a WR from someone else, or take an underrated in state kid.

Also how many more do you think we take? I've heard anywhere from 19-23.

@BMatt247

Nothing set in stone but around 22 @DoziaBoy how many players can we sign in 2013?

1. DT - M. Adams

2. DB - T. Matthews

3. WR- Isaiah Jones or Jayron Kearse (I know Kearse is not a popular choice but it's based on new info where our coaches see him as a WR.)

4. RB - J. Wilkins

5. OL - Bell or Gross

6. 1 of Howard, Green, Bryant, Wiggins, or Luper

7. FB - Jordan Chunn (preferred walk on)

IMO best guess:

Matthews

Adams

Howard

Wilkins

one of Bryant, Green or another surprise guy at RB

Wiggins

Crowder or Gross at OG

Is there a reason for the newfound optimizum in Howard flipping?  :dunno: TIA

Just that our coaches are not giving up.

I'm really suprised with all the Howard picks. I've looked for a ray of sunshine for Auburn in his recruitment and just haven't read or heard anything that makes me think he'll be a Tiger. I hope I'm wrong, but just don't feel good about our chances.

Wow, just wow. That is an outstanding list coming from someone who has inside info.

my picks- Wilkins, Adams, Matthews, Luper, Dye, 1 OL, 1WR

So here are the player mentions to this point in the thread. More than one player at a position by a poster still got those mentions counted. It looks like we are reaching some sort of consensus. I am surprised at the mentions on Howard too.

7- Wilkins, Adams, Matthews

6- Howard

5- Luper

4- Wiggins, Greene

3-  an OL, a WR, Gross

2- Crowder, Bell, Bryant

1- Dye, Kitt, Glass, Jones, Kearse, Chunn

Not KK but if BMatt is right and we only have 6 spots left we will not have room for luper unless we miss on a few above him.

I would be a little surprised if we did not take Luper. Great ath, coach's son, great friends with RF. But if there are others higher on the board and as long as it does not cause unrest, so be it. I think he would make a very good db.

TIFWIW, but I have been told that Luper is already part of this class, but his dad wants him to enjoy the process.  I'd rather have Luper over Wiggins. This came from someone different who told me about Wilkins, and it is more 3rd hand, so TIFWIW.

For me personally, I would be just fine with Luper in lieu of Wiggins. I think the only real benefit of Wiggins is added influence on Matthews.

The way all of these commitments have been coming earlier and earlier the past few years, it seems like kids on high school teams with a lot of depth are at a disadvantage. If a kid is stuck behind a star until his senior year and doesn't go to many camps, then there is no way he is going to get a look from bigger schools. Is it at all possible that there will be a guy or two who we haven't heard of before who will come out of the woodwork and have an insane enough senior season to earn an offer?
