Anyone know the schedule of coach appearances?

don't hold me to it, but I think I read somewhere where CGC is supposed to take the podium Wed. some time.

Steve Spurrier was quoted saying, "it's easier to win a national championship than win the S.E.C. just ask Nick Saban. lol, that dude is funny sometimes.

I can't stand Spurrier but that's hilarious. And his comment about being able to count on a few Georgia players being suspended at the beginning of the year was priceless as well.

That's funny coming from Stevo, considering he won 6 SEC Championships and only 1 National Championship at FLA.

I am getting tired of Mizzou and their cocky attitude. They act like they won the Big XII the last decade straight or something. They need to act like the new guy and show some respect, pay your dues and everyone will accept you. Right now I am rooting for them to get rocked this year. I like the way A&M has handled everything. They were the school everyone actually wanted to join, yet Mizzou is acting like they are.

His comment about if he made the schedule they would be playing Ole Miss...was pretty funny as well

That is why no one likes them in the BIG12, There O and D lines are small, they will have a brutal season.

Today at 2:3020pm, CDT, I believe.

Dan Mullen up now -- just said that winning the Auburn game is a huge priority, since that game sets the tone for the rest of the season.

Sorry -- Auburn at 2:20 CDT!

Fools on ESPN just picked MSU to beat us, by the way -- and to lose to Tennessee.

I laughed, "some wait 365 days for revenge" sir, I believe if you check the record, they've been waiting quite some time longer than only 365 and they're still waiting. BSPN is a complete and total waste of airtime. The SEC needed something to hold down the bottom two spots of the SEC west. Therein lies the existence of ol' sis and poo state.

The commentary on UTK was they are improved greatly on offense and mentioned nothing about the defense as a reason to justify the pick. UAB was within a field goal of beating UTK last year. They may be improved, but they too HAVE TO PROVE IT. If it wasn't for actual game coverage, there would be no reason to ever watch that JUNK. Oy......

That ESPN panel at SEC Media Days will likely pick us to lose 6 games: Clemson, MSU, LSU, ARK, UGA, & UAT.  But heck, I think they picked both teams to win the same game earlier so who knows what they might do.  Only one of those three guys has a clue of what he is talking about, the former BYU(?) lineman.

The questions for Ark HC Smith,

"Would you like to be coach for more than a year?"

Why no, I hope we roll over and die

EDIT: But whoa.........after listening to his presser, ummmmmm, he is an "interesting character". Good grief. :-X

He comes off as a tool to me.  He went to Weber State and then initiated contact with Arkansas about going back... if I heard him correctly.

If he was their best option, I would've hated to see the rest of them. The man appears to be unglued.

I thought so too.  Arkansas got put in between a rock and hard place by Petrino.  They think this years class gives them a shot at a championship and must not think they have much after that.  Smith sold them that him coming back was the closest they could get to Petrino still being there.

That BYU lineman, Trevor Morgan, picked MSU over Auburn.  Also, said all their first seven games are winnable, lumping us with the likes of MTSU, Jackson State, etc,.

Wow, watching Media Days I think we should just go ahead and fold our tent now !! Just saw where the "experts" say we lose to Arky. Let's see, the "experts" will probably also pick Clemons, LSU, Bama,  and Georgia to beat us. So I guess we will go 6-6 and just barely make it to a minor bowl. Can't wait to see how this turns out.  :o :'(

So far, what I have taken from the 'experts' is that they picked Arky over us because of QB experience. I don't have a problem with that logic. They also said we have a lot of question marks due to new DC and OC, our QB competition, a few position players, etc. I agree with that. My personal feeling is that we will have some learning curve to overcome when we get to game speed, but it will be ironed out rather quickly by our coaching staff. They left it saying that we will be talking A LOT about Auburn next year.

Man, how I love the college football sports media.

Some fella I've never heard of, from a Moo State source I've never heard of asked Joker Phillips, " Coach, can you speak to how Ms. State has become a marquee game for Kentucky?". :o

Someone paid for you to come to Hoover to ask that? They are due a refund.

I think Mullen slipped him a $20 bill.
