they're also really good at _________.  (Fill in the blank with the secondary sport you would like to see Auburn become known, to outsiders, for being a title contender year in and year out.)

Mine would be basketball.  I personally much prefer baseball over basketball, but I think having a good basketball program would energize the student body more than baseball.  Thoughts?

Are we using basketball as a secondary sport? By NCAA standards it's a primary sport.

Well swimming would be the "correct" answer based on actual performance. And we seem to be solid in softball, track, tennis, and gymnastics...so I'll say our newish hockey team (even though its club).

Another true statement would be women.

But I would also like to see our basketball team pick it up. With our new arena, basketball season could be a great time. I still enjoy going to games, even if the last few years have made me want to gouge my eyes out at times.

educating

Second!!! It is a college after all. I think education should always be the first thing at a college.
