Larger AU

I'm as old school as they come but I just ran across a pic of the larger AU on the helmets from 2 springs ago.  For some reason that really stands out to me.  I'm all about keeping it traditional and don't really care for the new pointed stripe on the pants.  However I liked the larger AU from the moment I saw it.  Thoughts?  I won't get my feelings hurt either way, blast it all you want....

Yeah I agree I thought it looked good when I first saw it too. I would have no problem at all if they ever did that and I may actually prefer it after seeing it more

What would y'all think about another subtle change?

What if we modified the stripes on the helmet worn with the blue jersey to look like the picture below (ignore the rest of the uniforms and imagine the helmet is still white; but now the center stripe looks like the pants stripe, with the blue smaller stripes right up against the thicker orange stripe):

We should keep the current helmet with the white jerseys, but modify the pants stripe to have white space between the orange and blue stripes (like those pants that were rumored to be worn before the Championship game).

Liked the bigger AU.  Something about that interlocking AU that gets me going.  I also like what they have been doing with the 50 yard line.  Seems to slowly be getting bigger, and they got rid of the white.  Which I never understood the white anyways, but who am I.

The only change I am suggesting to the current home uniform (blue jerseys) is to the stripes on the helmet -- bring the blue in up against the orange, leaving no white space in between.

The only change I am suggesting to the current away uniform is to move the blue stripes on the pants legs out so that a little white shows between the orange and blue.

Making those two changes would make all the stripes match on the home uniform (no white between orange and blue) and all the stripes match on the away uniform (always white between orange and blue). The way we have it now, our stripes never match. We always have some with white space between the orange and blue combined with some with no white space between orange and blue.
