I'll go Tamburello

He was the first player to come to mind, but that's just off of reputation because I never saw him play. Thus, I voted for Pugh, because he was a four year starter (even if part of his freshman year was at tackle) and an outstanding player.

Dismukes will have this honor after his career on the plains. Guarantee you that he will be the Auburn center that's taken highest in the draft. Wouldn't be surprised if he's the first center off of the board when he enters the draft.

Not many kids can start center in the SEC West from the time their feet step on campus as a true freshman.

I know he only started for 2 years but I vote Joe Cope. He was around 5' 11" 270 on a good day and he man handled Glenn Dorsey.

As the only one (so far) that has voted for Lee Gross, I must say he didn't play on teams with tremendous talent around him, but the one thing I remember most about him........is when in the huddle in the closing moments of a ballgame and Auburn needing a last minute TD to win, there was confussion in the huddle and Lee just patted his big ole rear end and told the QB  (Gargis maybe???) "You just follow me and we'll win this thing" and he did and they did...........

I'm surprised at the 0 votes for Walter Gilbert. He was a THREE time All American and is in the College Football Hall of Fame.

John Matuszak, one of the baddest DL ever to play in the league said that Tom was the craziest, toughest, meanest and dirtiest men he ever faced.  That included Tom's Guard Conrad Dobler.

Conrad Dobler was a "little girl" compared to Tom Banks!

I voted Blue but could have also voted for Banks I could only pick one of them. If you ask me tomorrow I might vote Banks then Blue both great Auburn Players and as another poster mentioned both had a mean streak and did very well in the Pro's.
