I double checked - No butt hurt and the Cheerios are dry. However, Sagarin did rank you as the 9th best poster for a one win team with the toughest schedule in D1 through the first five weeks of the season. Congrats!

No one is celebrating 1-3. But if you are 1-3, it's some consolation to be the best 1-3 team in the country. Or, we could just talk about how much we suck and need to fire all the coaches. I find the former more interesting.

It's more of a reflection of the tough teams we have played....yet the kids have been competitive, and without the turnovers two if those could be wins. No one is celebrating 1-3, but only recognizing the fact they have played the toughest schedule to date.

A4E's post does hold merit. I wish we could have traded TTech's schedule or even bama's. Brand new coordinators, QB and a young OL is tough to gel and overcome early. However, like I said earlier we lose to Arky then the point is moot and there is trouble brewing. Every game is important but this one is really important. Fraizer is really going to have to protect the ball.

I really wish we could be confident going into this weekend. I think I'm more nervous than the players. I bet no one is more nervous than CGC.

AU is 1-3 at this point for a number of reasons, but it has nothing to do with the schedule. Let's look inside the Sagarin numbers. Clemson beat AU (26-19), Ball State (52-27), Furman (41-7), lost to FSU (37-49) and then beat BC (45-31). Miss State beat Jackson State (56-9), AU (28-10), Troy (30-24) and South Alabama (30-10). ULM beat Arkansas in OT (34-31), lost to AU in OT (28-31), lost to Baylor (42-47) and beat Tulane (63-12). LSU beat North Texas (41-14), Washington (45-3), Idaho (63-14), AU (12-10) and Towson (38-22). Not sure how this translates into the toughest schedule in D1.
