Tickets are a tough sell this season. I'm 90% sure I can get a pair for free, but I'm 100% sure I can get them outside the stadium for less than half of face value.

Checked the local Craigslist and tickets are anywhere from $25-45 a piece and that includes some that are lower level seatbacks.

I am going to the game this weekend, and plan to buy tickets on the street. Any word of warning about counterfit tickets, or is that even a concern these days?

I truly hope anyone that has tickets, and can make the game, will be there. We need to have the stadium rocking, even though it's the early game. The way we are playing lately, 11am kick-offs are likely for most of our games. You gotta earn the right to play in prime time!!!

I bought two at the LSU game for $20, right outside the East side of the stadium near the tailgating tents. Top row of the East Upper Deck, but still inside the stadium. I would imagine this game and the 11 o'clock kick will provide plenty of cheap ticket opportunities. Hate I can't go myself.

i saw an lsu fan trying to sell tickets and got mad and tore them into pieces and threw them into the trash can, it was at least 2 tickets, near the pat sullivan statue. i didnt think about it till i got into the stadium but i should have dug them out to see if the seats were better than mine.

On the bright side, this season gives some people who wouldn't be willing to justify $50-$70 for a ticket an opportunity to go see their team for a little less money.

Counterfeits are a definite concern, but counterfeiters usually target the more high profile, high volume games, so they get top dollar for them.

I've got 5 extra myself. If anyone needs them, I'll be tailgating just outside the stadium. PM me and I'll give you my cell #.

I just gave mine away, but it is an auburn fan so all is good. This may be the cheapest sec game you' ll ever attend.
