Wow worst offense in first four possessions the last 20 years. We need to fix that and quick.

The Razorback defense has struggled in this time period, so hopefully we see a positive change early.

Compare 1998 and 2012 and see the similarities. I am not being negative, I do see hope for the rest of the season.and I think we will go to a bowl game and beat the U.

I hope we start off early. One, it's always a good thing but mostly I believe with the way Arky's season has gone, if we get on them early, they might start to pack it up.

I love Auburn, but Arkansas is a wounded animal. Let me tell you, a wounded animal has got nothing left to live for and can be very, very dangerous. They've got playmakers on that team, and they will come to prove everyone wrong.

When their down, step on their neck and don't let up. We need to take the fight to Ark early on both sides of the ball and never let up.

Little doc

This. If I could just have 5 minutes with the coaches, it would be to tell them no more going conservative. Ever. Look at the offenses we have to face this year...Clemson, ULM (hey, their QB is something else...), TAMU, Arky, Ole Miss...there are some really explosive Os that no lead is safe playing. Step on the gas and don't let off until you're driving off into the sunset.

Buzz and TN are right get ahead early and it should be easy. Let them stay in and start to believe and we'll have a long fight on our hands.

There's no doubt we can score against the ark D. Their o has very good experienced play makers. But the o line is not very good. Hopefully our d line gets lots of pressure on Wilson. If this happens things should go our way

I know Coach Loeffler spoke on Tuesday about the offensive woes in the 4th quarter which is alarming, but I would contest that the production in the first 4 drives as Stat points out is just as critical. A fast start would definitely help this team to build confidence.

The one thing this season has taught me: Temper my excitement and expectations about our football team. Listen to what the coaches are saying and read no more in to it than what is being said. Trust Coach Chizik to make the right decisions regarding the hiring of all assistants and remind myself that regardless how good the recruits look on paper or how well they performed in high school, this is their first big time test regarding their true ability.

stat: You think this is more of a result of preparation or talent, or a mixture of both. Typically the plays are scripted (based on down and distance) from what the coaches see on film. I dont want to start another downward spiral thread, but I'm concerned that this is historically poor.

The offense hasn't found its identity, its confidence or its leader, yet. There doesn't seem to be any confidence at moving the football down the field. The quarterback, who has to be the leader, hasn't shown to be productive or confident; therefore the other offensive players, not seeing much success, don't seem to have confidence the offense will produce. The leadership position on offense has to produce and instill confidence if offensive production is to be on a winning level. This week, the quarterback needs to make enough positive plays to give himself confidence and lead his team to a win. This would help toward solving a lot of problems on offense and further inspire the defense...heck, the entire team and the fans, too.

Loeffler's numbers at Temple last season during their first 4 possessions were very solid. I know he scripts early but I'm not sure how long he scripts. I had assumed AU would be successful early on because they did script just as Borges was when he was here. Overall, the offense has been very inconsistent, so I guess early struggles should not be too shocking. I truly believe once the pass-offense finds it's legs, the offense will drastically improve. Hope it begins this Saturday.
