That just means, with the line opening at AU -12 or ole miss (+12) the early money was on ole miss (+12) and who could blame them. So the line moved to AU (-7.5) or Ole Miss (+7.5) to move some money (bets) to AU.

Usually nothing to do with insider information.

I was absolutely shocked it started at 10. That is way to high for one of the worst statistical O's in the nation. I am not surprised one bit it has gone down.

That is untrue. Lines move because of where the money is going. It went down because all of the money was on Arky +10. When lines move that much it is to easy to hit "middles". Casino's don't like to move lines that many points normally, and they certainly don't like to pay one person on each side.

P.S. Sorry, I misread your post. You are correct. the money moved the line.

It should have moved. Auburn as a 10&1/2 point favorite was way off base. Four would be pushing it.

they change the line to even out the action not because they know something. they need 50/50 so they adjust the line to even out the action. Know the betters may no something or the line is favorable. its a crap shoot on this game in my opinion who know who will show up to play. not a good betting game
