Auburn Commitments Weekly Performances

Just an idea but I thought it would be nice if we had a thread just to post weekly stats about our current commitments. I think it would be simpler than having to go through all the threads just to read about stats. Don't get me wrong I do enjoy the individual threads though in order to get all of your insight about how you feel each recruit performed but sometimes I like to just get the statistics about a certain player. Also a lot of our other commitments don't get talked about much and I get curious on how they are performing. Now I would leave it to much more knowledgable people to try to dig this info up but just wanted to throw this idea out there.

I have not done this because half of the time the only way to get those stats is from Premium articles.

Jarrad Davis LB commit from Camden County GA is leading his team in tackles with 43 and averaging over 8 tackles a game. Camden County is in Region AAAAAA-I in Georgia which is the big school division. Camden is currently 6-0 overall and 2-0 in region competition. On 11/2 Camden County plays tradional power Lowndes County and looking into the crystal ball it will probably be for the Region Championship. Propst (sp) team Colquitt County has already lost to Lowndes. Lowndes was the school that Ed Christian played at.

How Auburn A listers faired

Montgomery quarterback Jeremy Johnson and Auburn High linebacker Reuben Foster -- two members of the A-List, al.com's list of the state's best senior prospects -- have committed to Auburn, meaning they're expected to be teammates next season.

Foster's probably happy he won't have to face Johnson in the future.

Johnson accounted for five touchdowns, going 11-for-18 through the air for 248 yards and two touchdowns, while rushing 10 times for 114 and three scores as No. 7 Carver earned a 46-20 victory over Foster and third-ranked Auburn.

PHOTOS FROM THE CARVER-AUBURN GAME

The 6-foot-6 Johnson continues to get comparisons to former Auburn Heisman Trophy winner Cam Newton, and he even gave his best Newton impersonation in the second quarter, pretending to rip open his jersey as if he were Superman. Newton has made that his favorite touchdown celebration in the NFL.

Here's a look at how the complete A-List performed in last week's games:

No. 1 Reuben Foster, Auburn, LB

The Auburn commitment had four tackles, including two and a half for a loss, and half of a sack in No. 3 Auburn's 46-20 loss to No. 7 Carver-Montgomery. He partially blocked a kick and scored on a 2-yard rush in the second half.

No. 4 Dee Liner, Muscle Shoals, DL

The Auburn commitment finished with seven tackles, four of which went for losses, and one sack in a 28-21 victory over Hartselle. Auburn head coach Gene Chizik attended the game and left after the first half.

No. 6 Jason Smith, McGill-Toolen, QB

The Auburn commitment completed 7-of-11 passes for 80 yards and three touchdowns and ran twice for 18 yards and a score in a 48-18 victory over Blount. He played only in the first half.

No. 8 Cameron Toney, Huntsville, LB

Toney, who has been battling a high ankle sprain in recent weeks, started at middle linebacker. The Auburn commitment was involved in several plays, and made a key stop on a third-and-goal play that forced Albertville to settle for a field goal in Huntsville's 35-17 win.

No. 12 Jeremy Johnson, Carver-Montgomery, QB

The Auburn commitment accounted for five touchdowns, going 11-for-18 through the air for 248 yards and two touchdowns, while rushing 10 times for 114 and three touchdowns as No. 7 Carver beat third-ranked Auburn High 46-20.

No. 13 Earnest Robinson, Pinson Valley, WR

The Auburn commitment Auburn verbal Earnest Robinson caught just two passes for 18 yards in a 31-6 victory over Center point. He added two rushing yards on two carries and a 23-yard kickoff return.

No. 15 Kamryn Melton, Dothan, DB

The senior cornerback and Auburn commitment recovered a fourth-quarter fumble as Dothan knocked off Class 6A, No. 10-ranked Daphne 28-24 at Rip Hewes Stadium.

Silly bammer. You don't go to the tattoo store to get them taken off, you have to go to special tattoo removal centers for that.
