I don't mind Jay Jacobs. I understand his logic in hiring Chizik despite Iowa State. He knows Auburn, was apart of the 2004 team and won a NC in 2005 besides it came down to him or Turner Gill. I don't think Jay is that bad. CGC is two years removed from Coach of the Year I don't think anyone could have foreseen the wheels falling off like they have, let's wait for Jay jacobs next move and make a decision then.

The entire athletic department/program is mediocre at best right now. I am not just judging Jay Jacobs on the football program (although that is what his job security is really tied to). And it is sad that Jay Jacobs came down to Gene Chizik and Turner Gill as the top two to replace CTT. That is what we are going to get once more if Jay Jacobs is still the AD when we have to make the next football HC hire.
