Coach Dye on the program....FWIW

I am not sure I like what the article said. From the feel of it, Dye is not just somebody with an interest in the football team. The way he was talking, it sounded as if it's his decision on whether or not to play Wallace. In addition, that whole keep working statement further bothers me. Somebody else says something quite like that every time he's in a press conference. Maybe I'm reading too much into it but that just seems really coincidental.

So what are they suppose to do? Stop practicing? Forfeit the remainder of our games? He is giving you insight that it wouldn't be fair to JW to put him in the position of probable failure. The entire offense is playing poorly. Do really expect a true freshman to come in and improve the OL, stop players from dropping passes, halt the offsides penalties?

CPD has done a lot for Auburn University. Having said that, I believe that CPD is too vested in the Chizik hire to not be "all in". I believe that he will stick with Chizik til the bitter end, win, lose or draw. Unfortunately I don't believe that's in Auburn's best interest.

Enough with the Pat Dye puppet regime conspiracy theories......it makes no sense to start Wallace, as mentioned he will not fix the other ills of the offense, like play calling and execution. I think KF has to be a leader...but he is so young he just does not know how....

If KF would have played more last year, we may not have made a bowl and the fire Chizik would have started last year. They should have completely redshirted him last year. He didn't want to run the ball(according to HIS tweets) and he couldn't throw it.

Anybody else caught themselves wondering if the season could have been better if CGC hadn't kicked Zeke off the team? Not saying I think he was all that, but I wonder sometimes if this system would have been better suited to him than KF.

Did anyone notice the difference in Dye's comments? Last week CPD said Chizik would not lose his job even if he didn't win another game. Well, this week he seemed to say it's up to the powers that be at AU, that he was not involved in that process.

Yeah. Zeke was such a good QB that he went to a s***ty school to play tight end.

Didn't say he was a good QB. I said I wondered if he was more suited for Leoffler's offense. Good Lord, he can't be any worse than what we have now.

I noticed the difference, and it's a big difference. We're in vote of confidence territory.

This is just extremely difficult. My heart is with the coaches, but my head is dealing with lots of evidence that they can't turn this around. We're not 1-4. We're on a 1-6 streak in the SEC -- and in great shape to go 0-8 this year. I don't know that any coaching staff can survive that.

Ok Pat, so....... We all need to just sit back and support the absolute joke of a product these thieves you are PRETENDING to support are putting on the field and not be upset about it? OK, sure thing. Can I please have some of your bourbon? Er.. all of it? Thats the only way I can take it anymore. Or better yet, will you please just shut up or get this guy fired already????
