mnmtigerfans 0
I love Auburn period. I proudly wear my Auburn gear, and cheer my head of for every Auburn sport. I don't have to say a word about this years team, we all know where we stand, and it hurt's inside to be losing, and not winning. We are being micro-scoped at every level, but just for a moment while you are calling for a hanging think about the kids. Yes they are just kids 18, 19 year old's with the weight of this entire thing on their shoulders.Do you think they ran their tales off doing summer two a days just to lose. How would you feel if you were Frazier? having your every play relived a thousand times. Do you think you could do better? If you do maybe you should walk on. Our problems are deep, and there are some people sweating right now. What ever has happened just may cost some jobs at the end of the season, and it should. We all accepted last year we lost so much talent, but this year should have never happened. So as you strap up your paper bag, and go down to the field to boo try to remember those are just kids on the field, and they deserve our support 100%. Save your disdain for the people who made this mess. They are grown men, being payed quite well to come up with winning plays, and molding these young men who deserve better than what we have given them so far this year. Weegle777 63
Not all of them are kids. Some of them are 21-22 year old MEN. But, I get where you are coming from. Still, even if they are receiving bad instruction, these players have a choice. They can either make the choice that no matter what the coaches do, I (personal responsibility) will lay everything I have on the line for my teammates; OR I (personal responsibility again) will not give my all because I am pi$$ed off because things aren't going my way. I absolutely believe in supporting the players no matter what, but getting on twitter and spouting all this crap tells me that character and honor is something that is lacking with many of our players. Because a real man with honor would sit down with whoever he believes has wronged him face to face and talk it out. Not be a coward and post something on a twitter feed. This is a big problem with boys today. They aren't taught how to handle adversity.
TigerNBham 3
No doubt that too. They do not have the maturity to handle all the instant attention that social media can give them. Then they have to live with those comments. I agree with you that a strong case of shut up grow up and man up wouldn't hurt 'em, or, most in this world. Good Post. WarEagle10 77
I have seen some people singling out the players. I have done the same out of frustration. However, most of the negativity I have seen has been directed at people who are getting paid handsomely by our University. I also agree with what weeg's said two post above! I also agree with what weeg's said two post above! Again, I disagree. There are more threads about firing JJ, alone, than there are about singling out players. Now I am not counting game threads. They are, and always will be, over the line. That is from the "heat of the moment" posts. Just look at the first page of the football section. One thread after another about coaching changes and an AD change.

We all know that those exact things can happen to any player a coach brings into his program. Now, suppose those issues you mentioned above actually do occur and that kid was given a 4 year guaranteed scholarship! As a coach, what do you do? FHeal 4
(guessing You-or I'd -or- a coach like CGC will) Do what you do to every kid who goes to college... you try an make a man (or woman) out of them. (you just can do it for them. they have to do it for themselves. sometimes it's just at their own pace, and not what you'd hoped)

shabby 1,908
Yes, we should talk Auburn football without discussing how players are playing in specific position. We should never discuss problems with the offensive line or evaluate any players in skill position or discuss a Quarterback's performance in any giving game. We might hurt the feelings of these children and message boards have are no place to present opinions about play anyway. Jesus, are you freaking serious? IronMan70 3,271
As myself and others have said many times, the players whether they be kids or young men, are not the problem.
