Too Much Information Makes it Tough

I could list every form of networking and communications but would most likely leave some out. It has been a gradual thing but by knowing so much so soon, we can hurt ourselves very easily. Most in this generation want it,,,,,,,,,,,,and want it now! I understand this, but with this comes a challenge to coaches all over the country. Whereas in the older days they had to worry about a President and Board, they now have to worry about over zealous bloggers, stories blowing up from tweets, rampant internet reports, facebook etc...

Talk about living under a microscope! I love our coaches, their families and our entire Auburn Family; but it is very obvious that our "CHEMISTRY" is not where it should be. Are the coaches working together 100%............or is there jealousy? Is our head coach too separated from the assistants? Are the players running around in groups with animosity between them?

If I have a good friend who is insulted in front of me I get his back and together we are a force. If I have a friend and we are a little sideways with each other and someone insults him..........I might just sit back and watch, not mix it up. That is what it seems like is happening in watching this team..........I am not sure they like each other!

It's our chemistry guys...............it is glaring and I cannot believe that the "leaders" on this team don't already know this. AND who is going to fix this before the entire season is wasted. Playing on a team like this is poisonous........leaders step up now please!

You are 100% correct on this. The problem is that our coaches appear to want to be "buddies" with the players, instead of taking charge and laying down the law. It's not uncommon for players to be asked to drop off twitter, facebook, etc. during the season. It's not uncommon for players to be held out of interviews, or at the least, only make available the players you trust to say the right things.

Our staff is disconnected. I don't know if this disconnection is between themselves, or with the players, or both. It's hard to be someone's buddy and their coach/boss. It puts you in a difficult spot in times of discipline.

Have you ever seen great team leadership or chemistry on a team that is losing 80% of their games? I'm not down playing what you posted but we all tend to second guess everything when the team is not playing well and that goes for all teams.

If this team had a veteran offensive line and even average QB play, they'd likely have a winning record and we would not be questioning everything in sight.

With that being said, it would be nice to see some players stepping up as leaders and a large pack of players following them.

Actually the current issue with the players and coaches have been the strict laws that have been laid down this season.
