it is currently 35-7 in the third quarter. Low talent Texas Tech over a very good fifth ranked West Virginia team. Auburn is more talented than both teams combined. We should be emberrassed right now. War Eagle, lets hope for a better future. I would pay for CTT to come back. Atleast we would have a solid defense. CTT was a good OC away from a NC. Should have played for it in 2004.

you are exactly right, but not because they are more talented. They would beat us by 50 because they are better coached.

How do you know this? Because of the stars they got out of high school? Untalented players aren't all of a sudden amazing because of a coach.

Because I have watched college football for long enough at this point. I live in Texas and I know what kind of recruits Auburn gets and what kind Texas Tech gets. Tech gets a bunch of rejects for the most part. CTT develops and does more with what he has, than most. Thats why he was successful at Ole Miss and later at Auburn. CGC and his staff has done a better job at recruiting than CTT did, but a worse job at development. Lets be honest, 2010 was a good schedule Cam and Nick Fairly. We had true leadership on those teams. The offense followed Cam and Cam also inspired the Auburn faithful. Nick Fairly wasa game changer by himself. Withoiut one of those players, 2010 doesnt happen. I am not trying to be negative, but you have to get your head out of the sand.

Geno Smith is better than KF,but....KF is very talented. I think under a Gus Malzahn, he is starting at Ole Miss and our record is better.

I think we as FANS need to come to grips with the fact that the decision making at Auburn has never been top notch. We had jet gate. we later fired CTT. We lucked out with Cam, but nearly got burnt.

In my humble opinion, we just haven't been able to put all of the pieces together to sustain a long term dominant football program. 2010 makes 2011 and 2012 alot better than the should be. without 2010, we wouldnt have beaten louisana monroe. we should be 0-6.
