Tre Mason 13 carries first half. 5 carries second half.

The genius that is Scott Loeffler

Saving him for next week I guess?

Yes he thought it was a preseason game so he pulled Coates after the good catch, and that's why Prosch was pulled a lot

It is as if Loeffler says 'OK, that play worked now lets file that away and lets try some other plays and find more plays that work, and lets call some plays that we know don't work until we think of a new play to try.'

Huge catch last week, never thrown to again. Huge catch this week, never thrown to again.

He made some peculiar play calls. On one first down carry Mason got 7 or 8 yards. On 2nd and two wouldn't you give it to him again. Get the first down and move the chains. Uh, no. How about bringing JW in for the Wildcat. A hand off to McCaleb gets a loss of two yards as the play is strung out by a defense knowing a pass is not forth coming with Wallace in the backfield.

Same thing later in the game. Mason for 7 on first down. This time on second down I believe CM rolls out into the short side of the field and throws an incomplete pass.

It's like Loeffler has to run something cute when a basic dive play would be sufficient.

If its the play im thinking of it was even worse, he called a delayed handoff to mccaleb out of the shotgun. It's 2nd and 3 and the brainiac starts the play 5 yards behind the line of scrimmage and gave the d a one second head start

Didn't Chizik say he was going to be more involved in the offense this week? hmmm that didn't work to well. I didn't see any difference in the play calling ...

Right. And like the pros,he changes players every play. And that dictates the play,or in extremely rare instances, plays that he will run. And my wife,my niece,my son,and myself pretty much know these plays, based on personnel. You think the other teams DC does?

Unfortunately, in the first quarter, I saw where scotty was still calling plays. At that point in the game thread, I gave us a 0% chance at winning. I think we were tied at the time or down by 1 score. Sad that I knew we were gonna lose that early. I have never seen it so bad that 99% of the fans are 100% done with the HC midway through a season. Just sad. If we had a real OC, I think we would be at least 3-3 right now and possibly 5-1 (that is if GC was capable of hiring 1 and the players bought in).

Besides not using Coates again, we were three for three for positive completions on first down from under center in the first half. Second half - 0 for 0.

Would like to see the total yardage when Mason is at tailback versus when McCaleb is at tailback. We have to stop using 23 at tailback!

I want to scream. The more I think about it, Chizik must have had Gus throttled all of last season to cover for his crappy defense. Now that Gus is gone there is nothing to cover for him.

GREAT PLAY FOR SAMMIE.. talked-the talk and then put it all on the field.. GREAT PLAY!!! CHIZ IS THE PROBLEM... he's gotta go.. I don't blame this on Scott, this is CHIZ at his finest...

Said it last week and I'll say it again. We look like a team who has one person do the playcalling in the first half and then someone else in the second.

Last week Kiehl played a good half of football and then was benched and we ran a very different offense in the second half.

This week we looked good in the first half and even ran some new stuff like the pass play to Prosch. Then in the second half... completely different story.

I especially liked bringing in Wallace on a third and four in the third. And of course the perfect play was called a sweep to the short side of the field. No offense to Wallace but I don't see the reasoning for Beijing him in for one play which everyone knows is a run. I just don't see the reasoning. I guess neither do the coaches.

Wallace played hard, and I like his enthusiasm. But bringing him in several of those times seemed an odd decision. He was brought in to do nothing that a regular RB couldn't do, and a few of those times limited our play because the defense knew he wouldn't throw.

He is the perfect chance to PA with a deep ball I've seen in a while, and they WILL NOT try it.
