Frazier

To all you Frazier haters out there that were calling for a qb change a couple of weeks ago, guess what? KEIHL IS STILL NOT THE PROBLEM! Now that it is extremely clear that Frazier is not the reason for Auburn's struggles, let's repeat the same short sighted solution with getting rid of someone else. How about a coach or director? Because when you're car won't crank up and go, you throw away the steering wheel.

Frazier wouldn't have had AU in the game at half like Mosley did. Mosley stood in and took a couple of shots that Khiel's would have been staring down instead of looking downfield. Frazier might not have been the overall problem, but he is not ready to play CFB.

Frazier still sucked though and couldn't read a defense or throw away a ball to avoid a sack. He is also the least confident vocal QB I have ever seen.

i don't remember seeing clint throw any passes away (at all) but i do remember him giving the other team two touchdowns after failing to recover a high snap (a safety would have been a better alternative) and then throwing an interception rather than a wide open lutzenkirchen in the end zone. Not dogging on clint, but definitely not seeing the huge improvement over frazier. Either way, still missing the point of the original post.

Moseley kept us in the game at the half? Moseley was PART of the reason they were in the situation they were in. I know Tunde high-snapped it, but when a ball is loose like that near the endzone you don't cover it up, you hit it out to avoid the touchdown.

Regardless of how Moseley performed as the starter, Frazier was still playing poorly. Bottom line, the quarterback position remains a question mark and part of the inconsistency on offense. With that being said, there are other elements hindering the production on offense other than quarterback and I hope Frazier gets the start against Vanderbilt.

Stattiger, i hope my agreement with you does not bring you shame or embarrassment. My point is that keihl is not to blame for everything wrong with the team like some were trying claim earlier in the season. frazier, along with the rest of the entire team, must improve. clint is not the solution to the team's woes. therefore, we are back where we started and keihl deserves another chance to improve, learn, and grow with the team in the position he earned in the preseason.

If ever there was case for a red-shirt year to grow up on. Is it too late? His OTJT is simply not working out as planned.

** Of course ** as everyone has said **

This team's problems are not .... all KF. He's just not helping the way a faster learning, or more experienced, or faster thinking quarterback might have.

We actually tried to go back to a running identity in that game instead of all this pass happy stuff. I would have loved to see KF operate in that game plan. I think he would have done very well. If any of you saw the Redskins game, the way they utilized RG3 is the same way we should use KF. Even Ole Miss would be a good model.

The problem is not the QB. They HAVE problems, but they are not the problem. Just like OMac is not the problem.

Our problem is that we're running a ridiculously simple offense that we do not make adjustments to during the game, and our offensive play calling is repetitive and does nothing to work to our strengths.

We could play all of Alabama's players right now and have just as bad a year with the play calling we've been having.

It's not a matter of people being KF- haters....it's just that the coaching staff last season and again this season has bent over backwards to give him the chance to take charge of this team and he just isn't doing it. IMO, he and CM are about the same and at this point, neither of them are SEC quality QBs.

I sure hope that Chiz is shopping around for a Juco for next season...else all the experience gained by our OL and other young players is going for nothing and next year will look like this one. I expect a new OC but he better bring a QB with him unless he is betting his career on a couple of untested freshmen because KF and CM don't look like the future for AU football.

Would love to see KF with Gus coaching him. It would be a totally differen't story!

No you would want to see Frazier with Lashee as his qb coach. Gus doesn't have the patience to teach qb's.

You have a point. I really did not like KF's pocket presence, but I really did like when he threw the ball. He has a gun, and a fast one at that. I think with some good training, he could be really good. But I think it is a lot mental which is hard to get through. I would love to see him at the top of his game though, it would be a thing to see.

i wish for both their sakes they were better. both have talent but no instincts. the ole miss qb showed instinct as well as the ulm qb. why we cant find one of those???? oh the play calling is awfull too.

I would like to see Frazier work with George Whitfield Jr. this offseason, he works with Cam and and also the Texas A&M qb and a few others. I am like you in that I see the talent there in Frazier he just needs a coach to help him and CSL is not doing him any favors. I don't know how much it would cost for for Whitfield to work with him but it would be worth the money.

Auburn can not afford not to pay the 7.5 million. The thing people is forgetting is overall enrollment is tied to how the football team is doing at Auburn and Bama. You need fresh bodies to occupy all that new construction around Auburn.
