AU ranks like 5th in total defense and Bama ranks 1st.

We have had several games where we stuck in the second team (and sometimes third team) defense very early only to watch the other team go down the field and in some cases score.

Now I do agree with letting the backups play for experience and to protect out first team.

Question is how many yards would we have had to NOT give up to be ranked #1?

about 41 yards less per game than what we are currently allowing.

I would rather have given up that 41 yards per game and be Undefeated and UNTIDE at this point of the season.
