What does everyone think is our percentage of getting the Alexander brothers, McKensie and McKenro? Just curious to see the responses. I put our chances at about 25%. Would love to have the duo though..

So you guys don't think they will go to the same college?

I don't think the probability of landing one is truly independent of landing the other.* Nice try though, lol.

*Note: To play if fast and loose with terminology, the "multiply them together to get the total probability" thing only works if the probabilities being multiplied are independent of one another.

Clemson thinks they took the lead today and feel good about Mackensie. However, nobody really knows, he's been labeled the "mystery" of the recruiting class. I know Florida tried to enter the picture today, but I think it's a little too late for them. I say getting Mack is 50/50 right now. If we get Mack then I think his brother comes, but if we don't a lot of people think his brother is going to West Virginia.

<p>An Atlanta insider tweeted "If you're an Auburn football fan you are going to be very pleased with tomorrow, could steal the show." Someone then asked him if he had inside information and he said yes he did. He didn't want to release the thunder however (or something like that). I agree. I think NSD could go 1 or 2 ways tomorrow.

1. We finish nicely (Adams, Ford, maybe miss on Alexander but sign a few other good prospects) and finish around a top 7-10 class.

2. We completely knock it out of the park (Adams, Ford, Alexanders, Bower, Daniels, a couple surprises) and crack the top 5.

Either way it's going to be a good day for Auburn tomorrow.

My dream scenario would be

Foster,Monty, Elijah, 2x Alexander, Ford, Toby, mix

Yes that would be best possible scenario. Even if we don't get all these I have a feel we get a surprise or two instead.

I feel if we even finish in the top 15 it almost sends a message that even after the year we had we won't lay down. If Gus works as hard as a coach as he has as a recruiter over the past 2 months or so we'll be a 10 win team in no time

For some reason I think we have a big surprise in a few hours. Another 5 star we thought had flown the coop.

Hope I'm right!

I think at this point, anything less than a top 10 class would be a bit disappointing. With Lawson firmly committed, we have a "ratings" anchor, because he's a top player in the country according to everyone with a decent ratings system, and we'll get at least a couple of positive surprises today.

Of course, I can't say I'm really all that surprised. Four years ago at this point, we were raving about how Chizik pulled a top 20 class, but truthfully he had more pieces to pick up. The combination of a three year old national championship and the return of Malzahn (who was the biggest draw to recruiting for offense the last few years) to the offensive side of the ball, after being gone only a year, gave a bit more stability than we'd had in previous coaching transitions. I think that's going to translate well on the field, too.

Disagree on the disappointing part. Having a top 15 class after a 3-9 season and with a completely new staff is amazing. To turn it to a top 10 class would be phenominal and arguably the greatest recruiting job in college football history.

Agree with E. Given how far the program has fallen both on and off of the field since 2010, for Gus and staff to pull a Top 15 class would be very impressive. Of course, going forward after this class, Top 15 will not cut it since most of our competition in the SEC is pulling in Top 10 classes.

I'm not disagreeing with that, and my apologies to the board (and to the coaches) if I came off like I was. My point was that given the way things stand now, then for us not to finish with a top 10 class means that we got the least amount of addition that we possibly could. If we get even close to what we expect to pull in, it'll be a top 10 class across the board, by my estimate.

Im just awfully glad this staff landed in Auburn and that all I have to say about that. They've done a job recruiting thats unbelievable and I expect their presence will continue to be highly visible with the top players in the country going forward!
