Scout report from ESPN

Given Stevens' height and length, he possesses very good movement skills and plays with good pad level. He is long and wiry with much-needed bulk to be added. He is fluid and graceful for such a tall player at the position. His surge off the ball is strong

This smells like a perfect one to pluck from another school. As already mentioned, A&M has 9 receivers and is a loooong ways away from Orlando. We, on the other hand, have one committed wideout and plenty of available spots for next year at the position. I would keep an eye on this one.

If Stevens shows this weekend, I would actually like our chances to flip him.

His film is terrific. Looks fast with good moves. Tall, but it may help him to add a little weight.

Fast and athletic, yes, but his film shows little with regards to route running. Most plays were deep balls or lob passes where he just took advantage of his athletic ability. I'm not knocking the kid, if I were his coach I'd take advantage too.

I would like this kid if he never did anything but return punts and catch a long pass every game.

At the bottom of the article they say he'll need a strong academic finish to qualify, so he may be a plan B guy. That may explain the FSU pull off.

All I can say playing at Evans says alot about a guy. That is the worst part of Orlando you will ever see.no one and I mean no one goes out after dark. The city just spect millions on building a new state of the art high school and it already has problems due to the enviroment around the school. The school is the only safe place to be in the Pine Hills area were Evans is located.

Not a Plan B from what I have been told. He was committed to FSU 2 times and then committed to TAMU after Craig came to Auburn. Craig and Stevens are very close.

Would love to have him. Thanks E.

Shortly after Gus got hired, i started a thread about recruiting under him. Myself, along with pretty much everyone else, thought receuiting would take a hit. Gus, you have proven me wrong. War Eagle, Tony!
