:slapfh: Dooooh! :homer:

My Goddaughter has a son named Jared. It's hard for my old brain to keep stuff straight.

(Kind of ironic for an Auburn man to mess up a name like "Jordan" though.) :-[

i thought he was considered a tackle?

Yeah that's what I was scrolling down to post. That's a huge guard. I guess if he plays inside that speaks to his athleticism.

how is Auburn going to find a spot for all these offensive tackles? As far the "measurables" go, most all of our O-line guys fit the tackle description physically. Somebody is going to move inside this year...Im convinced of it.

The problem we have and its a good problem is that we have 3 tackles, Robinson, Diamond, Young, that are too good not to be in the starting lineup. One will have to move inside to get all of them out there at the same time. But, the signing of Danzey and Mix to join Slade and Kozan helps solidify the guard position. It is going to be fun to watch all this develop.

I think Jordan will blossom into an all SEC type lineman. The offensive line will be vastly improved in 2013. They have to be, no doubt. Our new OL coach is a seasoned and salty old coach who will get the most out of this group. We have potential through the roof with the group of OLs we have. I remember a QB, Ben Leard, who was going nowhere under the coaching staff that signed him. When CTT came on board, Leard became a pretty darn good QB. I see a lot of paralells between Leard and Frasier. The potential is there, and Frasier will live up to his potential under CGM. I really think this will happen. If not, we have some pretty good QBs in the stable that are waiting for a chance to shine in CGM's offense. In general, we have great potential on the offensive side of the ball that is waiting to show the world what they are capable of doing to defenses in the SEC. A lot of teams on our schedule are in for a rude awakening this fall!
