Google Glass

Recommended Posts

Just the next round of everything being photographed/ recorded. We've had cameras in our cell phone for 10 years. Now we wear them full time. The camera could be in your glasses or even in your hat

If you are in public you really can't object to be recorded for non commercial purposes, but you may not like it when it shows up on the Internet.....

For private property owners its a security nightmare.

If a crime is committed and someone has the glasses in use, the crook might be ID'd quicker.

You probably have lots of lousy video to edit out.

Glass isn't quite as awesome as the videos make it out to be. A lot of it not developed yet, and the system itself relies on the user looking into the small projector/display in the corner. It's not a true projected HUD.

With the advance of faded displays, we aren't far a way from turning reality into a virtual stage.

2-3 questions

So with Google's penchant for returning a rather shewed return based on past user response..... would these be safe left lying around for your mate to peruse ?
Which will be first to market..... an incognito mode which turns your glasses stealth transparent as well -or-. the 3D version.
And how long before we see the "iSee" (i-C...iCee)

I still say it ends up being a niche use at best. I don't see the average person wanting to wear these on a regular basis.

Especially not with Windoze. I can see it with Google's OS.
