Our family and my father need your prayers more than ever!! If you can send a kind word to him, please send him a kind words, love, and support! The sooner you send the support the sooner he will get it, which he really needs! please send it to:

God bless Terry Beasley. He and Pat Sullivan can never, ever imagine what they meant to young Auburn fans then and what they mean to old Auburn fans now. They were and are heros to many of us.

We all need to send cards and letters to Brookwood in B'ham, Alabama.

Terry Beasley was one of the best; on and off the field.

I had the opportunity as a big teenager to meet Pat Sullivan and get his autograph shortly after winning the Heisman Trophy... and it was great! When I left, I have to admit I thought it really would have been even better to have met Terry Beasley too!! Prayers to the Terry Beasley family! War Eagle!

If you have a Facebook page, share this. We need to get it out to as many Auburn people as we can. He more than deserves a flood of love from the Family right now...

What's happened to him is a shame. He was one of the finest football players ever to suit up for Auburn, or anywhere else for that matter.

i shared this on facebbok. i also just mailed a letter to him just to let him know how much he meant to me as a child growing up. just for laughs i told him i think he won the heisman for pat. i hope he is with us for a long long time and i have hoped for years he would write a book as funny as he is about his days in auburn. god bless terry!

Terry may be my favorite Auburn player. I got to see him play as a kid, and later on met him at a book signing. He is such a class act. He is in my prayers.

My dad doesn't know I am doing this but his wife and I are wondering if anyone in the Auburn athletic Department would contact him.... He's been called from everyone you can think of, even missionaries in Etheopia! It would mean a lot to have someone talk with him, and talk to him. Thank you and God Bless you all!

Can anyone pass this on?

JJ got the message and I called Standford and left a message with Pat Sullivan's assistant.

From Facebook: My sister Terry Beasley Varner, and I, stayed with my dad last night until visiting hours ended. He was in good spirits and even smiled a few times. He was so touched by the many cards and letters sent, especially the prayers that have been lifted!! We showed him the website, which was his first time seeing it and he was blown away! He couldn't put it into words how special he felt and so blessed! Thank you to the many websites that have re-posted this and the many members of the Auburn Family (and beyond) that have reached out. He is still not doing great but with your support and ours(his family), he will be doing much better each and every day.....as he is the true definition of a fighter! God Bless you all and thank you so much! War Eagle!! P.S. he was moved to room 392 yesterday morning.
JJ via Twitter today:

...Terry is in Room 392 at Brookwood Medical Center in Bham. He got over 50 cards today and it really lifted his spirits. #prayforterry

Talked with Marlene Beasley, wife of Terry today. She wanted me to pass on that they need our prayers. Send note of encouragement to Terry..

I enjoyed many Saturdays watching Terry and Pat. As a Split End (old term for Wide Receiver) myself, I loved watching him play. My thoughts and Prayers are with Terry and his family.

Terry,

Our prayers are being lifted for Our Heavenly Father to place His healing hand upon you Terry. You are truly a sincere servant of Christ and your message has lifted so many and shall continue throughout your time here.

My kids purchased a plaque several years ago and it's been one of my fondest allowing me to witness to people as a coach and high school principal (retired now). I arranged it so it was center to the other trophies and plaques, it was the smallest but it stated the most prolific sentiment. It reads… "Let Jesus Be Your Coach and You Will Be a Winner"!

My wife and I look forward to hearing great news of your continued recovery!

God’s Blessings!

I read on his facebook page by his son nobody from the Auburn athletic department had called him or offered support. Now his son says Jacobs called. Pathetic lack of leadership. He has several medical conditions you would think the Auburn athletic department would offer assistance yet it took his son posting on facebook for Auburn to reach out. Thats pathetic. The guys medical conditions are probably in part due to his playing days at AU the guy sacrificied himself for Auburn do something Jacobs.[/sup]

Sitting in my wheelchair in the endzone from (1969 til 1971) watching Terry pull in Pat's passes was always a thing of beauty. Those Saturdays always brought a lot of joy to me. God Bless you, Terry. You and your family are in my prayers, heart, thoughts and love. WAR EAGLE!!!
