Nothing to see. It's all on the up and up.

She needs to be brought to the Hill and forced to plead the 5th on every question that can be asked. She needs to sweat and Obama needs to sweat with her on every question.

why would Obama need to sweat? Do you have the "magic memo" implicating Obama? Did Rand Paul give it to you?

Just a reminder, but Nixon went from this...

to this...

in about a year.

I dont think Obama is going to get impeached. I only point out that mediocre polls today mean nothing later on.

And if i remember correctly the end was underway about the time everyone started claiming "Fifth Amendment Privileges..."

And Watergate was a "third-rate burglary" that happened to incorporate an enemies' list, IRS "targeting", and a cover up with LOTS of people pleading the 5th.

Let's wait and see. My bet is that there will be a lot of rats to rat out other rats.....and maybe there's a BIG rat.

Couldn't have said it better myself. Yes, it took a while for everything to lead to Nixon. It all started with denials that it happened (for nearly 2 years in this case) in spite of Congressional inquiries.... then it turned into a "sort of" admission floated by way of a phony question late on a Friday in a press conference....that had only come up because the IG had to finally investigate it after so many complaints.....to oh well, it's only two local employees in Cincy, no one else new about it....to, well, it's more people in Cincy and not just Cincy but other offices....to it was only a handful of Tea Party groups.... to, well actually, it's nearly 1500 groups....and oh, buy the way, not just Tea Party, just any group at all that is likely to be hostile to Obama's big government agenda....to but no one in the WH knew....to, well his legal council knew but know one else....to, oh, well, they all knew and his Chief of Staff and other senior staffers knew too....but don't worry, HE didn't know....trust me...

Now, Shabby, do you have kids? If they told you this story and it started with "but I didn't know anything about it"...would you believe it?

It comes down to what the other posters pointed out...we've seen this before. It took a long time for everything to come back to Nixon ...and it did one painstaking lie at a time...ever closer to him. There's a basic human survival instinct called "pattern recognition". It's that "spidey" sense that tells you when a place isn't safe...or when not to trust someone....or that when something is too good to be true, it is...In the case of politicians, it's called applying your bull**** meter or filter to what they say. You see, when you see a pattern repeated like this with politicians or other celebs; of course you expect it to eventually lead to Obama. All Narcissists and Politicians deny their wrongdoings when trapped. There's a history of this denial and then unraveling exposed one lie at a time.

Now, let's just for one second suspend our disbelief...let's assume that, even though the pattern of actions, would lead a reasonable person to assume that Obama is in fact a lying sack of s***; let's say he's not lying...Then we are faced with another disturbing point to contend with. He would be in Lala land and VERY far removed from his duties as a Chief Executive. You see, a Chief Executive actually runs the operations of an enterprise (private business, government, whatever the enterprise). But in this case, he really didn't know that an entire agency was running amok and his Chief of Staff and Chief Council new about it, Congressman had been inquiring about it, the IG was investigating it, there had been dozens of claims from citizens....but he didn't know anything about it. Now, if this was a large bank...you know, too big to fail... or say Enron; and the CEO claimed that "no sir, I didn't know that my staff was falsifying documents, cooking the company books and filing false financial statements that I signed" ... would you believe it? Hhhmmm....if so, I have some land I'd like to sell you....

..... even though the pattern of actions, would lead a reasonable person to assume that Obama is in fact a lying sack of s***;

Would a "reasonable person" use that terminology? Or is that just what your "spidey" sense tells you? ;D
