Oh no Nick Marshall, I didn't just see that, did I ? @ the :47 mark

I don't know if this has been shown before and it's not the best quality video, but take a look at the play at the :47 second mark. Nick Marshall scrambles, is under an intense rush, throws off his back foot at his own 31-32 yard line, the receiver catches the ball at the other 11 yard line and walks in for a TD. A pass of 57-58 yards, in the air, off his back foot, under pressure ? I mean, you have GOT to be kidding me.

edit: As pointed out in the thread, the throw is from the right hash mark to the left side of the field so it may be closer to 65 yards in the air. So somewhere between 57-65 yards.

If you count the throw from one side hash mark to the other it's probably closer to a 65 yard pass.

He found the wide open receiver, and was able to get the ball to him.

Still. The point is that's a 65 yard throw from the back foot. Very impressive.

Pass from 42 yd line not 32 yd line [shorten you estimatted pass projections total by 10 yeards]

look again fish. Nick released the ball from his own 32 yard line.

I must say that if NM can come in and play like most of us hope he can, this could be a very special season. I believe that we have similar talent levels on 1st and most or our 2nd string as the top tier teams of the SEC. No one gave us a fleeting thought going into 2010. We have more talent now (granted undeveloped talent)and certainly more potential than that team had. We have been lacking in experience, confidence and leadership. Now, I believe that those things will soon be a strong suit of this team. You can see it, hear it and feel it in the way this team has seemed to respond to the new staff. These boys have a lot to prove and have a boulder on their shoulders. Not just a chip!! I wear O and B glasses every moment of the day and I know that. However, I just believe that the pieces r being put into proper place for real success and the drive to achieve and settle for nothing less has been instilled by the coaches and certain current players. Look out cause "We Comin'"!!!!!

I got 31 yardline to the 11 yardline. 58 yard pass off of his back foot.

That's not even suppose to be possible under pressure like that. Insane ability.

While his foot was on the 31 his hand released the ball from the 32. :tease: :)

Starter. Very elusive QB. AU not expected to win even 7 games, under the radar, rebuilding year, experienced O-Line coming back, full stable of RBs, probably won't be ranked........

Sound slightly familiar?

THIS^^^^^ While I would LOVE to pull a Braves worst to first scenario like in 1991 I am not getting my hopes up that high.

Marshall will be our starting QB next year. Wallace is OK, and Frazier is still having problems looking off primary receivers.

To really drill this down-The ball was caught at about the 11 yard line. But for the receiver the ball would've landed at about the 8. So tack 3 more yards onto the in air flight.

Tell me this, can we win them all this season? And don't give me "it's not likely." Can we win them all? Yes or no. Not looking for some drawn out explanation of how it likely will not happen, YES OR NO.
