I just want to know if we're going to credit Newt and the House Republicans when we hit a balanced budget ... wait, wrong decade, my bad ;)

I wonder if Trump understands he benefits from increased property valuations? If he does, maybe he can explain it in the next empty room speech he gives at CPAC.

As a proud and true Yankee fan I can take say it may or may not have been sarcasm. As for the stock market I'm as happy as a lark my portfolio is looking good. And yes I can be a little grouchy at times especially in the morning walking a certain dog.

Also glad I got out of the building/construction investment business when I did..

Well, if you were in that business, to not expect fluctuations to follow certain trends is short sighted, it takes a different kind of financial planning in a business that requires that you be more exposed to business expansion/contraction and spending cycles. Steinbrenner would have known that. Many fortunes have been made and lost in construction and construction investment. Not new. Heidi would know this, ask her.

I absolutely think that things are better than they have been. I give the current administration credit for anything that it has done (except spend money needlessly) to make things suck less.

Glad it's starting to turn. Of course, the administration is a mass mafia driven to use every possible agency to destroy it's political opposition (or anyone who opposes it) but hey, it's all good. No worries. Show me the money!

What the heck did I say? We're on the right path!

I think he was referring to the "and we're all going to die" part.

But you are correct on that, too. ;)

Well be-headings would represent a HUGE amount of political power.

Other than, that, I think you just described politics. ;)

Yep, amazing what you can do by printing money.... wait for it.... wait for it.... Boom , here comes the inflation.

Actually forecast for inflation have dropped by a slight percentage and interest rates are slightly rising, the rates are rising faster than economist expected. 11 year record shows the rhetoric of inflation fear mongers hasn't changed, but somehow they cannot figure out inflation hasn't changed much either,. Funny how that works. BOOM. http://www.washingto...ld-be-thrilled/ The rhetoric just doesn't match recorded reality. http://www.tradingeconomics.com/united-states/inflation-cpi
