Auburnfan91 1,408
I'm pulling for the Spurs. I'm a Dallas Mavericks fan but I do like the Spurs and I like Tim Duncan. I also like seeing the older players in the NBA do good.

ellitor 34,038
Heat in 6! Embrace the greatness that is LeBron. Best player to ever touch a basketball. close but not quite. He is the most talented but not the best. He does not have Michael Jordan's killer instinct. If he does not develop it he will never reach MJ's level of succes. I'll give you he's the most athletic, but that's where it ends. MJ's drive and competitiveness were on a different level.

SLAG-91 1,625
Respect the Spurs a lot...I'm a Rockets fan, but San Antonio is the gold standard for how a team should be built and how they should play. Hope it goes 6 or 7 with the Spurs winning it.

He is the most talented but not the best. He does not have Michael Jordan's killer instinct. If he does not develop it he will never reach MJ's level of succes. actually he's not even the most talented. he's the best right now. but not in Jordans zip code for best all time. I'd even take Kobe in his prime over Lebron due to greater skill set.

If Kobehad Lebron's raw God Given ability combined with Kobe's desire, clutchness, and Drive Kobe would have more than the 5 rings he has now. bigman334 56
those reasons are why i think Kobe is better though. He has the clutch, desire, etc.. JMHO
Wareagletd 0
those reasons are why i think Kobe is better though. He has the clutch, desire, etc.. JMHO I think LeBron is starting to develop the clutch gene. He has always had the desire. He is starting to develop that "mean streak" that Kobe has. And Kobe didn't develop that until later in his career. Shaq showed Kobe how to win.
bigman334 56
i used to lean towards Lebron earlier this season however i thought about it. If you take away Lebron's athletic ability what do you have left. Most of his game is based on his strength, explosiveness and jumping ability. On the other hand, if you take away Kobe's athletic ability which father time already has taken a lot of you still are going to get a relentless scorer with the desire to do whatever it takes to win and an arsenal of offensive moves. Lebron has not developed many if any moves.
ellitor 34,038
I compare it this way. Lebron is the most gifted basketball player the world has ever seen but TO THIS POINT not the best of all time. That belongs to MJ because he was good at everything and had the "IT FACTOR". Just as Randy Moss is the most gifted Wide Receiver I had ever seen (Pre Megatron) but was not the best. Jerry Rice is the best of all time because he was great at everything (except for raw speed) and outworked everybody at that position.

LeBron has shot 40% from the 3 point line and beyond in the 12-13 season. Kobe has never shot 40% or greater during a season from the 3 point line and beyond. Wareagletd 0
Series tied now. 1-1. Heat blew Spurs out. LeBron had probably the block of the year on Splitter. Reserves played last half of 4th.

ellitor 34,038
Hard to beat a team when they don't miss. Lol. Also hard to beat a team when you play with no heart. For me this ends any comparison to Jordan for the best player of all timedebate. Jordan would have never EVER let his team get destroyed by 36 in the NBA Finals.
