Winning the "war" up front

Under Tuberville, Auburn won the TFL battle 40% of the time. Under Chizik, it dropped to 30.7% during his 4 seasons as HFC and down to 16.0% the last 2 seasons under Chizik.

In Auburn's last 25 games, the Tigers won the TFL battle only 4 times and it came against Utah State, Samford, La-Monroe and New Mexico State, Not one single conference game in 2 seasons.

I hope the "G.R.I.N.D." project is for real and the players truly buy into it. As Gus Malzahn states, "Auburn needs to get their edge back".

I have confidence that we will see it this year. Certainly by next year...I see our conditioning program working wonders...just by the pictures alone and the folks showing up.

It's a new day. I believe we have the right coaching staff with the right mentality. I believe the players will respond. I expect to see hesitant, inconsistant, and indifferent replaced with attitude, desire, and the will to win.
