This Chick Wants To "Reclaim Her Mamahood" After Her Abortion. OMG.

I just read the biggest bunch of self-serving nonsense I think I've ever read on the Huffpo. And if you read stuff on the Huffpo, you appreciate how strong a statement that is.

I knew as soon as I read Renee Bracey Sherman's bio that I'd be resisting the urge to bang my head against a brick wall as soon as I read her piece, and it was actually worse than I expected. All of it, really. The bio, the column - it's so filled with liberal feminist garbage that I was genuinely surprised she didn't just use a giant vulva as her profile photo. Sherman embodies everything that is wrong with liberal "womyn."

Here's her bio, y'all:

Renee Bracey Sherman is a reproductive justice and storytelling activist who shares her own abortion experience to encourage others who have had abortions to speak out and end the silence and stigma. She has been featured on BBC Radio World Newshour, EBONY.com, Salon, RH Reality Check, Feministing.com, and Feministe.com. Renee is a writer with Echoing Ida a project of Forward Together, and a graduate student at Cornell University.

"Reproductive justice?" This is what they're calling abortion advocacy now? How much justice, exactly, is being handed to the innocent lives who are taken by the procedure?

Sherman wans those who've had abortions to "speak out and end the silence and stigma." Silence? Is this chick for real? Pro-abortionists CANNOT STOP TALKING about their abortions. Google the phrase, "I'm proud of my abortion." There are websites aplenty devoted to sharing stories about how awesome abortion is and how it's the best thing women ever did for themselves. If there IS any stigma left, that's possibly one of the only tangible shreds of morality we can still point to in our society. Abortions SHOULD have a stigma attached. This liberal feminist desire to make abortions an act of courage and strength and empowerment is absurd. For killing another human, they expect accolades and respect? SERIOUSLY?
