Best place to sit at Jordan-Hare

Would love to hear everyone's opinion on where they think or believe the best place to sit at Jordan-Hare stadium during game day. I've been a die hard Auburn fan for last 10+ years and this season I will finally be able to make the trip to the plains. I was in Pasadena and the experience was like no other so I can't imagine what it would be like on home turf.

I'm thinking of Section 5-7 rows 1-15. Is this too close where players behind bench are in the way and can't see anything or are these prime seats?

I've sat all over the stadium due to a big time donor boss when I was in high school. I personally love the upper deck for the view of the field, but I also really like about 27 rows up or so depending on what section you're in. The club seats are nice with the shade and all and offer a good view. When I go to games now I look for lower rows of the upper deck between the 30 yard lines.

My dad's season tickets are in the upper deck on the away sideline, around the 40-45 yd line, Ive sat in the student section, club everywhere else and thats still probably my favorite place to watch a game from a view standpoint, as far as atmosphere, student section for sure.

If you are going section 5-7... Don't jump to rows 1-15. There's no bad seat at Jordan Hare. But, geometry isn't on your side with low sideline seats. Under the 30th row, the field is obstructed by players' helmets, torsos, etc.

We love our West Upper Deck seats. They are between the 45 and 50, 18 rows up, although a few rows lower would be nice just because of the old knees. In the West (home side) upper deck, the sun sets behind us --- so the sun is out of our faces long before it's out of the faces of the fans sitting on the east side of the stadium. If you are in the upper deck between the 40's, probably even between the 30's, your view of the field is not distorted. When we have guests with us, they are always apprehensive about the upper deck. But when they get there, they always say "This is great!". We would love to be able to sit in the lower level, but we will never be at a high enough donor level to have seats that are as good as what we have now. And where we are now is a result of 35 years of GAF/TUF. I sit in the end zone once each year with the Alumni Band. Although there is a lot to be said for sitting close to the field, the end zone field perspective doesn't suit me. I find myself watching the game on AUHD.

In 2010 we sat in the lower corner of the end zone. Before the season I was disappointed but that is where Cam Newton came to warm up before the game. He always engaged the crowd just a few feet away. And we scored a lot of big touchdowns in that endzone too. When the action moved to the other end we watched AUHD. But that said I prefer the upper deck.

I prefer and have TUF seats in the north endzone. I like having the QB or Linebacker view and seeing the plays open up (I also officiate high school football in the umpire position so I am more used to this type view). I will admit for plays beyond the 50-yard line going into the south endzone I use my binoculars on the play, so that is a drawback of the endzone seats. I am 6 rows above the concourse, and believe those are the right level so anything from row 20-45 should be good. I have sat in a corner of the endzone section and now understand why those go to the visitors - probably the least preferred seats. I have never sat midfield (between 30-yd lines) on sideline before, so don't know if those are better, but would give different angle and move overall field coverage I imagine.

I am looking at buying tickets to a game next year and was wondering how many rows there are in the lower and upper decks?

I had seats in north endzone on row 61 one year, and was at the top of the endzone. So I believe the lower level is 61 or 62 rows. Not sure about uppper deck. But if you go to the AU website and search for 3D seating, you can enter section and row and it will give you an "interactive view" of what the field will look like from those seats. Doesn't show players backs and helmets on the lower rows (1-15) but still a great perspective when trying to get seats. I hope the link below will take you there.

Be sure to use your mouse and move it around and you can look left/right/up/down and zoom in/out to get some perspectives.

We are in the upper east deck on the 50, row 28. While it is a hike to get up there, we can see absolutely everything. It is more of a family atmosphere up there, a lot less drunk people and less cussing than in the lower deck, I imagine. It is true that the sun is strong up there, but we have the most amazing view of the sunsets! JHS is a football palace! :Sing:

I've sat all over as well. I was never a fan of the upper deck. Home side in the lower 5 rows is difficult to see. Best seats are home or visitors side underneath the overhangs for the shade. Between the 30s about 15-30 rows up may be heaven on earth . That said, we always sat in our season tix seats in the end zone about 40 rows up and I wouldn't trade those experiences for the world. Pretty awesome when Davis runs right to your section in the greatest college football play of all time!

I sat in about the same place in the west upper deck for A-day (2013) and it was a great view

My favorite seat I have had is section 3 row 50 something, It was under the over hang and the shade was awesome(also I the tv hanging on the overhang is convenient. pretty much anything over 30 is good though. Worst seats I have had is section 5 row 1,t was the worst seat ever!. I also had some good seats at the iron bowl, I think it was section 4 row 30, they were pretty good seats but that being said if you cant get the 50's do I.

Best seats are around midfield and just under the upper deck overhang where you will have some shade. Only got to sit there a time or two though.

I've sat in that area once too. It was my favorite.

I have been in a seat in most every section of this stadium and there is no competition... Best seat in the house is down in the endzone with the recruits. You get to walk on the field, you get to sit next to the future of AU, you get waited on hand and foot by gorgeous college women, you get to see the game just feet from the holy grass, when the action is at the other end of the field you still get to see the jumbo tron, and the perks of walking around in the lounge is amazing!

Has anyone ever sat in the Section 35 (visitors section)? I may have the option to get some tickets in this section. How did you like it?
