One SID may have screwed us in the team ranking category, but they sure love them some Nick Marshall...

My favorite is 2nd best passing QB in the SEC :)

I don't know how much love there is ... I suspect they are only ranking returning players, so there's not much competition at QB. Still, to rank him as the 2nd leading Heisman contender and the best athlete, he is getting some respect.

After Marshall spent much of last season being criticized, while his play was definitely better than anything we saw in 2011 or 2012, I'm glad to see it.

Man Georgia got alot of love. Too bad Ritch always does less with more... well not to bad :wareagle:

Well he has turned in 8 seasons with 10 wins or more out of 13 seasons there. 2 Conference titles and several division titles. Most schools in the country would be thrilled with those kind of results. 2013 was definitely a disappointed season for Georgia his overall record doesn't support the less with more notion, IMO.

Richt will never win the big one unfortunately

Or even make it

I think that's why some UGA fans want new blood

Malzahn in his first year went to a bowl game Mark couldn't make in 13

Its just painful to be the best on your side of the best conference and not be part of the greatest conference streak ever (unless you count helping Alabama win another one)

And I hope they get it...kinda reminds me of the UT fans who just knew that once Fulmer was gone, someone else (anyone else to hear them tell it) would come along and take them to the next level. ...and they are still waiting.

Agreed. Marshall seems to be one of those QB's who gets more attention for his weaknesses than his strengths, even though the latter far outweigh the former.

Definitely. When I was reading a lot of his criticism last year, it made me wonder if I had been watching different Auburn teams in years past. It almost seemed as if a freak like Cam became the standard by which Marshall should be judged. I watched plenty of Brandon Cox, Clint Mosely, Chris Todd, Daniel Cobb, Barrett Trotter, and Jason Campbell. With the exception of Jason Campbell's play in his senior year, I'd gladly take Marshall over the lot of them.
