Watch This and tell me You Respect Obama

Recommended Posts

I have had this video on file for a long time. When I look at it now I want to puke when I realize we have a sorry Pres. and CIC who cares more about politics than his country.

The very fact that when interviewed, 90% of those that voted for this guy had zero knowledge of ANYTHING that he was running on. These people voted for him because Beyonce and JayZ told them to.

The video is a moving and fitting tribute to the warrior-heroes who have defended our liberty through the years, and to whom I sincerely say "Thank You!"

I just regret that some can watch such a memorial, yet demean it with petty political arguments about our democratically elected President and their Commander-in-Chief. Hate Obama if you wish and work/vote against his policies--that's one of the freedoms those heroes fought and died for. But please don't diminish the value of their sacrifices with political bickering.

In other words, act like an Auburn man and show some class.

Right. Why present your political dissatisfaction with a video that is honoring american heroes?

when he stops politicizing everything then I won't criticize him. This is a man who makes everything about himself. This is a man who takes selfies at every chance he gets. He even did it at the funeral of Nelson Mandela. What is there to respect?

He can't even keep from chewing gum at the D Day memorial ceremony

Looks as though the lady in the yellow hat is chewing gum also. At least he had enough to share.

Bah ! Just a bunch of jingoistic clap trap to promote the military industrial complex. Everyone knows that America is the seed of evil in the world. The fruit of the imperialistic racist chickens are coming home to roost, and so on.

Now, multiply that tone and mindset with about 20 years worth of sermons, on top of being raised by socialists who flat out HATE the United States.

Mix in a few years of radical Left wing higher education , and you have our dear and fluffy leader.

I like ICHY's version better. It's more revealing of the truthiness of your position.

You didn't actually read the post you quoted, did you?

Huh? That doesn't even make any sense, what so ever.

Yep, that's Argentinian-born Queen Máxima of the Netherlands.

Additional comments:

1. I respect the office of the President and the CIC but I don't have to respect the man in them.. Obama is all about politics. He even used his talk at Normandy to make snide political comments. Is that not blatant disrespect for the men in the graves in front of him? He loves politics a lot more than he loves his country.

2. To each his own opinion but I do not see any disrespect for the warriors in the video and political comments. They didn't serve and die to free a deserter and five evil men who are responsible for killing lots Americans. I sure as heck believe the word of the men serving with Bergdahl over a President who habitually lies.

.3. The whole fiasco with Bergdah isn't going to end well thanks to Obama's stupidity. He has referred to Bergdahl as a POW which he isn't. But in the end, as a POW, he will end up with all kinds of benefits POWs are entitled to.

Hmmmph! I agree with you, but sometimes you can be very selective in using it. I guess most, if not all of us can (and will) be that way. The creed, in some forms, contradicts your political ideology...and mine.

Does it? Based on most of what I have seen from the two of you, there is no real contradiction between your ideologies and the Creed. At least, not the spirit of the Creed.

It "could" be deciphered like this:

I believe that this is a practical world and that I can count only on what I earn. Therefore, I believe in work, hard work. (Libertarians/Republicans)

I believe in education, which gives me the knowledge to work wisely and trains my mind and my hands to work skillfully. (All parties)

I believe in honesty and truthfulness, without which I cannot win the respect and confidence of my fellow men. (Libertarians)

I believe in a sound mind, a sound body, and a spirit that is not afraid, and in clean sports that develop these qualities. (Republicans)

I believe in obedience to law because it protects the rights of all. (Libertarians)

I believe in the human touch, which cultivates sympathy with my fellow men and mutual helpfulness and brings happiness for all. (Democrats)

I believe in my country, because it is a land of freedom and because it is my own home, and that I can best serve that country by "doing justly, loving mercy, and walking humbly with my God." (Libertarians/Republicans)

:)
