Do we know that they were up to something nefarious, or were they perhaps planning to go to Canada and seek asylum to get out of that hellhole in the Middle East? I mean, you could be right but I'm not finding enough here to say exactly what was going down.

And what is the 'serious threat' you're talking about...having these soldiers over here to train?
