Sort of reminds me of The Matrix, where Cypher double crossed his crew mates so he could be 'plugged back in'. He would rather live in an illusion of fame, wealth and comfort than deal w/ the uncertainty of the real world. Much could be said about those who still cling to the view that our major network news are all equally unbiased, and employ hard working journalist with a keen sense of what goes on in the world who are simply doing their job by reporting " just the facts, ma'am " .
