This just in. UAB dropped Men's Football, Women's Bowling and Women's Rifle from their Athletic Teams to cut costs. Now, because of Title IX, they will have to add Men's Cross Country and Men's Track. Title IX says that a school must have a certain number of athletic teams and the total numbers of women athletes on scholarship must equal (or as close as possible) the number of men athletes on scholarship.
