Reese Dismukes, the four-year starter at center who will make his 50th career start in Auburn's Outback Bowl appearance against Wisconsin, is a finalist for the Rimington Trophy for the second straight season, according to the trophy.

Dismukes leads a group that includes Michigan State's Jack Allen, Georgia's David Andrews, Kansas State's B.J. Finney, Boston College's Andy Gallik and Oregon's Hroniss Grasu for the award, annually given to the nation's top center.

The Spanish Fort native might be considered the front-runner for the award after being named one of three finalists for the Outland Trophy last week, an award given to the nation's top interior lineman.

The winner of the Rimington Trophy will be announced on Thursday night during ESPNU's Red Carpet Show, immediately preceding the Home Depot College Football Awards show.

Congrats to Reese. I hate that the atm game will probably linger on his mind for quite some time but he had a career that far outweighed that one day. :wareagle:

What's the criteria for winning the award? Is it who grades out the best? More than likely they are all pretty good right?
