Just announced on MNF that Jon Gruden has signed a contract with ESPN that will keep him on MNF and out of coaching anywhere until 2021.

SO, take that name out of consideration for any vacancies...not that it ever should have been there in the first place.

ESPN guys are the ones always dangling his name out there. Unless they censor the comments of their talking heads, I expect Gruden's name to come up regularly with attractive coaching openings.

A contract is just a contract and unlike a prison sentence, contracts are made to be broken when one side or the other wants a change.
