I don't think Trent Thompson is visiting this weekend. I think he's going to Southern Cal according to 247. But we should get a visit from him the next weekend or the next.

I don't mean to get off here but all Chavis wanted was a guarantee on his contract that if Les was fired he would be payed all the way threw his contract. His contract read that if Les was fired he was not guaranteed he would be paid if he was let go no matter how long the time was left on his contract. So I'm told. Lol.

WDE, I heard a very similar thing about the guarantee, but I also heard an additional point that, when A&M offered him a significant raise, he took offense to LSU countering with next to nothing (something like a $30K bump). I think both are probably true.

I would like to see COV and Ivey visit again in order for us to feel good about landing them. With Coleman and Young most likely going pro after next year and Golson & Braden Smith moving inside, we're going to take a drop in talent at the tackle position if we don't land one or both of these guys.
