ellitor 33,062
He's only a 3*? This kid has to be under rated from what i saw in those highlights. Perfect example of why recruits should be rated on college impact potential and not pro expected draftability. He will make a 4^ college impact somewhere. Now in the pros where there is not as much roster room for specialists I can see him being a 3* if they thought his CB skills were not refined. With 5 coaches visiting him this week I would not be surprised if he changes his tune.

KcPg14 24
Coach Malzahn, Muschamp, Garner and Thompson all visited him at school today. How do you say no to that?

Florida great Matt Elam was 5'10 FWIW Well, that, and 5'9-5'10 is a perfectly normal height for a CB, especially in college. The average height for NFL cornerbacks is 5'11. If this guy has speed, hips and long arms, then he's damn near the prototype.
CameronCrazy 1,057
Quick question... Even though it was at his school, does that count as Malzahn's in-home visit?

Gus can only have 1 off AU campus visit with each recruit this month.

KcPg14 24
He will be an Auburn Tiger I think he will too. If we get Davis in this weekend (Texas commit) I think we could easily land him too with the help of Irvin. Those are 3 studs at CB.

GaTigerFan 0
#1 target at CB and a priority for WM. Kis is elite. This is why I don't get hung up with how many stars a kid is rated... I'm pretty sure most coaches don't put much stock in that stuff. I saw a post somewhere today that said Bama was cruising to another recruiting national championship... how ridiculous. Look back at their past classes... There are so many guys that don't pan out that are supposed to be instant stars. Remember Dee Liner? Yeah, don't even think he's seen the field yet. Bama recruits based off of stars. I like the coaches that see the potential in 3 stars. Daren Bates was a 2 star and he's starting in the NFL right now. I think Russell Wilson was a 2 star as well and he has a Super Bowl ring and possibly getting 2 in a row.
