Oh she gets it all right. I will say though that is possible to have a secure border, maybe not 100% but we can do a hell of a lot better than right now. I will disagree on the effort to recruit high skill immigrants. That is the line used by the tech companies and others that want to expand the H1B program. We're getting people coming in for far lower wages than American citizens driving them out of a job. Just fix the freaking education system here and any problems we're having in that area will be taken care of.

I sadly find myself on the side of those that think public education is not fixable. Private schools do a far better job. Time to shut it down and use the better option.

I tend to agree Tim. Get the federal government out of it and killing the Department of Education would be a good start.

No the dems are beholden to them and the money they bring in. The establishment Republicans really don't care one way or the other. I will say that more and more states are cutting out the automatic dues collection and making the unions do it themselves. Edited by cooltigger21
