Proud Tiger 4,261
I can't say it's enjoyable but it sure is thought provoking and maybe closer to realism than I would like to think.

homersapien 11,362
This was a critically-acclaimed movie which I unfortunately missed. That was a great clip. I made me think of a book I recently read - The Ascent of Humanity - that explores the same theme.

homersapien 11,362
Title? The movie was "My Dinner With Andre' ". I just saw the review by Rogert Ebert and he really like it. He named it best film of the year. Actually, this might have been the clip featured in the review. It's hard to imagine a discussion carrying a movie, but if Ebert likes it.... AURaptor 1,122
Random thoughts.... Not entirely off the mark , at least in some of its points. The 60's generation really did take itself way too seriously. Since the industrial revolution, mankind has seen more changes in its capacity to impact himself and the world around him than at any time before. Comprehension of that fact has seem to have struck a nerve, at least with some.
