17-16 21 Posted April 17, 2015 Share Posted April 17, 2015 I don't recall the offenses during Campbell's years being near as poor as the defenses of the recent years. I may be wrong, but the offenses in the years mentioned were very competitive. I can't imagine any sane person could pin the blame for the recent defensive performances completely on coaching or completely on player's effort. As of last season, AU's defense was worse than the O was good IMO. Back then I think the defense was better than the O was bad but we could barely move the ball. We had no talent on the outside.
