Kid Rock Says Kiss My A...

Kind of a interesting story. Kid Rock has an African-American son and has done a ton of philanthropy work for the city of Detroit. Now due to his past stage shows, videos, etc that showed a CFB the National Action Network is now calling for boycotts of all things Kid Rock. His contributions, the museum he helped pay for, his sponsors. I am not a fan of music. I just find it funny that now some of these organizations that willingly took his checks/charity previously are now attacking him.

Don't forget he won multiple naacp awards....because that wouldn't go with the black people says he's racist motive you can see up above...Or he can be one of many such as Kendrick Lamar who is criticized by some person our group. And Kendrick didn't even tell anybody to kiss his a$$ that hoodlum thug!

Another example of how the left believes you can only think one way. All I know is the guy has been good to Detroit, good to his kid and I love his performances. And I love his eloquence...:-)

Kid Rock is a cool dude but his music blows. He used the flag to establish his southern 'cred'. He's a genius because now this keeps him down home with the low intelligence crowd.

he needs to quit hanging out with Nugent. Bad influence. Isn't he supposed to be in jail or dead right now?

His audience ? And what about venues who may , as is so often the case these days, refuse to allow him to play, or retailers who refuse to sell his music ?

Entertainers go to jail for pub. Second nobody buys any kid rock albums.....boycott what? Nobody hardly plays them except now maybe a few organizations that didn't buy his stuff in the first place but now the good ol boys down south love him. I GUARANTEE he getting a tour down south started right now as we speak.

Good for him if he can set it up. He'd be the marketing genius I never took him to be if he can make this work to his benefit.

Not a fan of his, but I was curious. He is already in the Southeast and only has 5 dates that were set long time ago. Tickets for Atlanta have been on sale since Feb so the others will be about the same time.

The rest of his dates are in the North and West. With 10 Michigan dates in August. You don't exactly blast things about your home state right before playing a series of dates there. Ask the Dixie Chicks how that works out.

Besides he has better marking ploys. Like telling the concert industry to kiss his ass also by making all tickets 20 dollars, setting venue beer sales at 4 dollars, and eliminating purchase charges from his ticket sales though supporting distributors.

With shows slated to sell out at each venue over his four-month stint, however, secondary market ticket brokers could cash out big on fans strapped for tickets.

That article is from Feb in Forbes.

I think he had more to lose than gain by his statements.

He is playing to his base...pretty simple and effective. It's a pretty diverse base if you have ever been to one of his concerts or listened to his music. I happen to be a big fan. He has a huge heart, he is a fantastic entertainer in person, his audiences are the most engaged I have ever seen at a show (a close run to a JB concert) and he gives a ton of money back to his community and those who truly need it. Kid is alright. But he has committed the unpardonable sin of disagreeing with the Orwellian thought control machine so now he must be attacked as a racist (which I am sure his mixed race child finds amusing).

If more people and business would tell Sharpton and the democrat race extortion machine the same, we could move on and get past this childish race baiting and have a real conversation...but, not likely since the Dem's policies don't want to move past it and deal with chronic unemployment, lower literacy, rampant crime, high murder rates. They'd prefer to lose another generation of young blacks instead of lifting them out of Democratic policy hell.
