Feature on Casey McCrakin

Recommended Posts

Had a chance to meet her Thursday night at our local Freshman send off event. Her mother shared this feature on her journey that I had not seen until this morning. Thought I would share it here. She's going to be a great addition to our Softball program. Oh, and her high school team here in Pensacola (TATE HIGH SCHOOL) won the 7A state title this past season.

Thanks, good to see something related to new players. Looking forward to seeing her play. Anyone with info on any incoming pitchers? I believe we have 3 seniors at that position. There were some teams last year who had some amazing freshman talent at that position.

Great bios.....and no surprise to me. Coach has a national reputation that will enable him to get access to any softball player in the US.

AU meanwhile has a beautiful campus, good academic opportunities and a team on the rise.

Thanks for the info WarTiger. Please keep it coming. Amazing we are now able to pull some of these high level west coast players. Would love to get some more (from anywhere) with the same potential as C. Wallace.

Casey was SS on the Tate high State Champs. As a Freshman she played baseball and wanted to continue in this direction. It took some talking from the coaches and her Dad to convince her that she had a future n softball. She is a heck of a SS and a good hitter. Auburn will not regret giving her a scholarship.
