Why is it under the YouTube category of "comedy"? Now if there was a video of ME trying to do any of that...it would be comedy.

maybe. . . . :) cause they gonna make other folks look silly ?

The one legged platform squats while holding a 45 extended out in front of your body made me hurt just watching it.

A pistol squat is damn difficult to do just with body weight. Great exercise for leg and hip strength, but also flexibility of the legs, hips, AND ankles (which I bet is of equal priority when you think of the nagging type injuries dealt with over the course of a season). You can definitely tell that CRR is bringing core strength, balance, and explosiveness into his workout regime. All should serve well on the field.
